I just love watching Lainey learn. We had a great weekend. I'm partial, I know, but she's just so darn smart. She is beginning to mimic what you do with your hands. Saturday she and I were playing and I was making a funny noises with my mouth and her toys -- I handed the toy to her and she did the same thing! It was so cute.
I love watching her "get it" -- She was in the tub splashing last night, her toys were at the other end bobbing up and down with each splash -- she had a moment where she realized . . . "hey, I'm doing that, I'm causing those toys to bob up and down . . ." She just kept doing it and smiling at me and Amy. At the same time, Amy and I looked at each other and expressed how we love the "ah-ha" moments like that.
She's wonderful . . .
